What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provider Data Specialist position at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas?
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is looking to add to our Medical Economics team and has an opportunity for a Provider Data Specialist. This position carries the primary responsibility for the coordination, implementation and maintenance of electronic records utilized for payments to providers, and to support Blue Cross Blue Shield Association provider data.
The position manages and maintains provider contracting agreements and records. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that provider payments are aligned with contractual agreements and pricing updates.
This position is eligible to work remotely (8 or less days a month onsite) or hybrid (9 or more days a month onsite) in accordance with our Telecommuting Policy. Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate as a condition of employment."
