What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapy Director position at Blue Sea Educational Consulting, Inc.?
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist, with experience working with school-aged children, to oversee and lead our OT and PT program, while also maintaining a flexible field caseload. Work location will be a combination of office and some field hours.
Duties
- Create and oversee business reporting and QA
- Maintain AOTA professional development status
- Oversee and lead the planning and implementing of evaluations and treatment plans for students
- Manages Occupational and Physical Therapy service providers during the course of the school year, ensuring deliverance of sufficient mandate fulfillment and annual review reports are revised and submitted to districts in a timely manner
- Interviews candidates to grow and expand our clinical capabilities
- Effectively manage and coordinate relationships with our partnered school districts, parents, and providers
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years working in schools and/or with school aged children
- Valid NY State Occupational Therapist License and Registration
- Management/Supervision experience preferred
- Must live in either Nassau or Suffolk County
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
