What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Staffing Specialist position at Blue Sea Educational Consulting, Inc.?
The Staffing Specialist is primarily responsible for identifying and placing appropriately experienced and credentialed therapists and educators who provide special education services as requested by client school districts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build rapport with providers to ensure compliance and enhance company growth.
- Assign providers to cases appropriately, monitor placement related activities for assigned providers, including but not limited to availability and case compliance.
- Understand and follow Blue Sea standard operating procedures.
- Complete tasks and projects as assigned
- Communicate with assigned provider candidates through ‘final status’ disposition, including screening, interview, orientation, and onboarding
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Special Education and/or Related Services (i.e., Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Therapy)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, time management, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to take initiative and maintain workflow independently
- Energetic, confident, and positive attitude
- Computer literate; Familiarity with MS Office Suite and Google Chrome. Ability to quickly learn new programs
