Laundry Attendant

About the Role:

As a Laundry Attendant at the Comfort Inn & Suites Oceanfront Daytona Beach, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all linens, towels, and other guest room items are cleaned and ready for use. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all guest rooms are properly stocked with clean linens and towels. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products
• 
  Responsibilities:
• Sort and wash all linens, towels, and other guest room items according to hotel standards
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Fold and organize all clean linens and towels for efficient distribution to housekeeping staff
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor

Skills:

As a Laundry Attendant, you will use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all guest room items are properly cleaned and stocked. You will also use your communication skills to work closely with the housekeeping team and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room. Your knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products, as well as your ability to speak multiple languages, will be beneficial in providing exceptional service to our diverse range of guests.
