What are the responsibilities and job description for the LAUNDRY ATTENDANT position at Premier Resorts Management Inc?
Please come join the pre-opening team as the Laundry Attendant at the soon to open Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida. We are looking for an experienced laundry attendant. Previous hotel experience is required, previous Marriott experience very helpful. Local candidates only, non-smoking position.
This is an hourly position that requires flexible shifts, including evening shifts. Local, non-smoking candidates preferred.
BASIC PURPOSE: Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers. (40%)
2. Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished product is inspected and meets quality standards. (50%)
3. Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition. (10%)
