Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for assessing and performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our rental properties. This is a full-time position with competitive pay at $20 per hour with benefits. Gas allowance is also provided. Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to drive to where the work is needed on a daily basis. Must be local to the Logan, OH / Hocking Hills area or willing to commute. Job expectation is Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with one working weekend per month.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties including indoor and outdoor areas
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with guests, other employees and external vendors
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and independent skills to complete tasks
- Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in maintaining equipment and facilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service-oriented mindset
