The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing cloud services for homeland security. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that’ll support the homeland security mission.

On our team, you’ll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools, such as JIRA and Confluence, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish spring planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

In this role, you’ll directly impact the homeland security mission by delivering cloud services. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT project management while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve providing highly available and security cloud services in support of the homeland mission.

You Have:

• 7 years of experience working as an Agilist, Scrum Master, IT Project Manager, or IT Business Analyst

• 5 years of experience with supporting a software delivery or digital transformation project in an Agile role

• 3 years of experience with leading a small technical team

• Experience working with customers and end users to prioritize project objectives and requirements

• Experience with setting up sprints, running reports, and creating queries in Agile management tools

• Experience developing roadmaps and project plans within an enterprise environment

• Experience with facilitating scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Experience working with end users or customers to gather and develop requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence

• Experience facilitating scaled Agile ceremonies, including scrum of scrum or PI planning

• Experience with implementing projects in a Cloud environment

• Experience with ServiceNow

• Knowledge of Agile values, principles, and frameworks, including scrum and kanban

• Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Top Secret clearance

• Agile, IC Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Agile Coach Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
