Job Description:
Position: RN OR Circulator/ Pre- op/ PACU
Location: Lamar, CO
Shift: Days
Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hrs
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care within the 3/scope of practice within surgical services; see listing below:
Must have experience in all 3 areas!!
1. Pre-op
2. OR/Circulator
3. PACU.
Conducts assessments, documents care, provides emotional support, coordinates transfer, recovers patients, circulates cases, assists with processing instruments/equipment in central sterilizing, and prepares patients for surgery. Assist other staff members and provide patient education. Knowledge of and/or interest in technical procedures and care. Adheres to the principles of infection control and the department's general policies. Adheres to national standards established by IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, and ASPAN.
