Boulder Country Club, a dynamic, sports-oriented private club, seeks an experienced Facilities Director for its Gunbarrel location. The Club's main buildings contain an athletic, swimming, and tennis center, a seasonal poolside restaurant, and a two story clubhouse open year round with two restaurants, three bars, and multiple event spaces for weddings, parties, corporate meetings and sport events. The Club has six buildings totaling 95,000 square feet. The Facilities Department is responsible for the buildings but not the grounds or the golf course. $65,000-80,000 per year depending on experience
Job Requirements:
- The safety and security of all persons and property
- Zero downtime of kitchen cooking, cooling, and cleaning equipment
- Minimal downtime of building environmental and communications equipment
- Housekeeping standards of Class A hospitality space
- Care and repair of furniture, fixtures, and equipment in all areas
- Improvements to operations in all departments
- Ability to accept directions and priorities from management and reliably carry them out
- Persistent focus on completing tasks
- Strong team, club, and cross-function orientation
- Strong work experience across multiple trades: HVAC, electricity, plumbing, and building finishes
- Previous hospitality and restaurant experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer focus
- On call required, terms TBD
- Able to be on site within 30 minutes of contact
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Must communicate clearly in written and spoken English
- EPA certification and other maintenance training highly desired
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, and walking for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Talking and hearing in person, on a phone, and in a group setting
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently reach above shoulder level and below waist level
- Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb (stairs/ladder)
- Ability to constantly balance and utilize gross motor skills (grip/handle)
- Ability to work in adverse conditions including: extreme heat, extreme cold, wet/humid, confined areas, high places, loud noise, and with equipment in motion
