Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 / year DOE
Business Litigation Attorney Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters including real estate, construction, and general business disputes
- Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery responses, and law & motion work
- Participate in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation through trial prep and trial
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and opposing counsel on assigned cases
- Collaborate directly with founding partner and support staff on legal strategy and case management
- Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary
- Assist with trial preparation and trial execution when applicable
- Use firm systems to manage case files and conduct legal research
Business Litigation Attorney Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in general business litigation, construction and real estate litigation experience is a plus
- Strong drafting skills and experience handling discovery, pleadings, and motions
- Ability to manage multiple cases with minimal oversight
- Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing
- Exceptional communication and client management skills
- Professional demeanor with strong phone etiquette and flexibility to adapt in a fluid environment
- Trial experience is a strong plus
- Candidates with solo practice backgrounds welcome if they meet litigation criteria
