You ll play a critical dual-role, overseeing material procurement and managing essential project tasks. Key responsibilities include handling permits, negotiating with subcontractors, and supporting field operations to ensure seamless project execution. Salary Range : $80,000 - $105,000 / year DOE
Purchasing / Project Manager Responsibilities :
- Respond to foremen s calls to address material needs and ensure timely procurement
- Conduct job buyouts, research suppliers, and negotiate pricing and contracts
- Approve invoices for purchased materials and ensure subcontractor compliance with insurance and documentation
- Pull required permits, schedule inspections, and maintain up-to-date project documentation
- Issue purchase orders, manage subcontracts, and execute change orders
- Support project progress reporting and manage the transportation of materials and equipment to job sites
- Work closely with foremen, the superintendent, and internal staff to meet project goals efficiently
