Project Manager Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, foremen, and internal teams
- Manage active job sites daily, performing quality checks and client walkthroughs
- Coordinate scheduling for crews, materials, and inspections
- Lead final project walkthroughs and ensure satisfaction
- Support change orders and upsells
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Troubleshoot issues and solve problems with a proactive mindset
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality standards are met on every job
- 5–10 years of experience in construction project management, ideally in residential or landscape construction
- Strong client communication skills and ability to manage expectations
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple job sites, and lead crews
- Thick-skinned, professional, and able to handle pressure from all directions
- Must be based in or near San Diego, CA and available for daily site visits
- Clean driving record
- Experience in exterior residential projects: hardscape, pools, outdoor kitchens, etc. is a plus
- Tech-savvy with ability to adopt project tracking tools and systems is preferred
- Strong eye for quality and design with the ability to upsell enhancements
