Position Summary

Bowdoin Colleges Department of Psychology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty appointment in diversity science at the Assistant Professor level, beginning July 1, 2025. The position subfield is open, with a preference for candidates whose research involves quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches to the investigation of discrimination, prejudice, racism, culture, context, power, privilege, and / or identity. The teaching load is two courses per semester. A PhD in Psychology or a related field is expected by date of appointment. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.
