Central Sterile Technician
POSITION SUMMARY
Under close supervision, the Central Sterile Technician prepares, tracks, and sterilizes equipment and instruments in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares operating room case carts, sterile trays and supplies for all areas of the hospital. The Central Sterile Technician performs cleaning, decontamination, assembly, wrapping, or containerization, sterilization, biological monitoring, quality assurance and distribution of reusable instrument trays, supplies and equipment throughout
EDUCATION
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Patient Populations Served:
Participates in care to patients throughout the lifespan.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
License/Certifications:
Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate for healthcare workers.
Post-offer/pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Salary : $38,000 - $48,100
