As the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows approaches its 50th Anniversary of serving our community, we are looking for a strong, mission-driven leader that provides direction to 30 Club locations in the greater Reno/Sparks area. The Director of Club Services directs and oversees program operations across clubhouses, school sites, and shared spaces, with primary responsibility for outcome-driven program delivery, compliance, and staff leadership. This position provides supervision, training, and support to Clubhouse Directors and School Site Directors to ensure consistent, high-quality programs aligned with Youth and Teen Development Outcomes.

These are some of the additional responsibilities of the Director of Club Services:
- Develop, implement, and administer comprehensive programs with an emphasis and support of Youth/Teen Development Outcomes, services, and activities for members and visitors in the following 5 core areas: Art, Character & Leadership Development, Education/STEM, Health & Life Skills, and Sports/Fitness/Recreation.
- Oversee the proper implementation of all grant programs at applicable clubhouses and shared spaces, with special focus on OJJDP and 21st CCLC.
- Oversee the identification and evaluation of opportunities to improve program effectiveness on the basis of participation and achievement of stated goals; recommends modifications to improve program performance.
- Serve as a role model for the youth and teen members and ensure that members are encouraged to participate in a variety of programs areas/activities and receive instruction and constructive feedback to further develop skills in program area(s).
- Develop collaborative relationships with public entities, civic groups, school district partners, and social agencies within the community. Represent the organization and interpret its objectives, standards, and programs.
- Ensure administrative, safety, and operational systems are in place, overseeing the maintenance, compliance, and operation of the physical properties and equipment of the Club, including use of facilities by outside groups.
- Manage financial resources, participating in the development of designated clubhouses and school sites annual budgets. Control expenditures against budget, making recommendations for expenditures to purchases.

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or certification in a specialty area.
- Minimum of five years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs to youth and teens or a combination of education, mid-level managerial experience, and/or other relevant experience.
Skills & Abilities that make a successful Director of Club Services:
- Considerable knowledge of: the mission, objectives, policies, programs and procedures of Boys & Girls Clubs; of the principles and practices of non-profit organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, direct and coordinate operations; in personnel supervision, the recruitment and retention of key personnel; facilities management; and budget management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a diverse population, and represent BGCTM professionally to the community.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to produce and provide data/reports in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Must be able to perform duties which require walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and/or bending for long periods of time. May occasionally be required to kneel, run and/or climb.
- Must be able to use hands and arms to enter data into the computer, use the telephone and other office equipment.
- Must be able to perform surface and deep cleaning appropriately using potentially hazardous cleaners including bleach, as needed.
- Must be able to lift, move manipulate and or hold objects up to 45 pounds. Objects that exceed the 45-pound weight limit require additional assistance when moving, lifting or manipulating.

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
