Title: Pre-K Lead Teacher
Reports to: Sugar House Child Care Director
Salary Range/Benefits: $30,000 DOE. Bonus potential, paid leave, medical and other insurance benefits, 401(k), and discounted childcare.
Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
Status: Salary, Non-exempt.
Job Summary:
The Boys & Girls Club is looking for a strong, energetic, and dynamic leader to serve some of the most promising youth on Salt Lake City's east side. The Pre-K Leader Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing pre-school activities with 4 and 5 year old children. Primary focus is youth enrichment and safety. The Pre-K Lead Teacher will be required to drive the children in a club vehicle.

Responsibilities include:
● Thorough knowledge and background working with early childhood ages
● Understanding development levels
● Preferably holds a CDA or taking Child Care Ladder classes
● At least one year of youth or child care experience
● Experience/knowledge of preschool curriculum
Other Requirements:
● 21 years of age or older with valid license and clean driving record
● Must be able to attend required child care trainings throughout the year
● Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
