Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Sparks, NV

Reports to: Branch Manager

Bragg Crane Service is looking for a motivated and detail oriented administrative assistant to assist our fast-paced division. The ideal candidate for the team will be a hardworking professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and work diligently. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. Employee will support Accounting (Payables, Receivables, Payroll) and the Maintenance Shop (Work Orders, Inventory).

Functional Duties:

  • Accounts Receivables and Collections.
  • Accounts Payables and Invoicing.
  • Internals Sales support and Dispatch back-up.
  • Reception – answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls. Receive direct visitors and clients.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system and office administration.
  • General clerical duties include photocopying, fax, and mailing.
  • Tax filing, IFTA, fuel tax and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Business license renewals, Crane certifications and over dimensional & state certifications.
  • Prepare and submit new hire I9 paperwork to HR.
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Maintain office supply inventories.
  • Coordinate and maintain records for staff, telephones, parking, and petty cash.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment.

Job Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Outstanding communications skills - written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Problem-Solving Skills – You will need to be able to prioritize the most important situations and think quickly on your feet.
  • Good Organizational Skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent-Required)
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures & systems such as filing and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office administration

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a phone and computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds.

Hourly rate: $18 – $22. The hourly salary for this position ranges from $18 - $21. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position, and individual hourly rate will be based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
