Brewer Morris is partnering with a Top 200 AmLaw firm that is seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Associate to join its Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing, collaborative practice group that handles complex litigation matters across the Southeast and Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction litigation independently or as part of a team
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct depositions and court appearances
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop case strategies
- Maintain proactive case management and organization
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in construction litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to prioritize and manage a dynamic caseload
- Active Florida law license required
Compensation:
- Base salary: $200,000 – $250,000
- Minimum billable hours: 1,850
- Bonus structure:
- $10,000 bonus at 1,950 hours
- For every additional 50 hours beyond 1,950, earn 20% of your effective rate on non-contingency matters
