Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a generalist across individual, corporate, partnership, estate, and trust taxation
- Lead strategic tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements
- Drive business development and expand the firm’s market presence
- Mentor and lead tax professionals to ensure high-quality client service
- Stay current on tax law changes and advise clients accordingly
- Review complex tax returns and provide technical guidance
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships
Qualifications:
- CPA or JD required
- 12 years of public accounting experience (Big 4, national, or large regional firm preferred)
- Proven success in business development and client growth
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Long-term commitment to partnership (no near-term retirement plans)
Workload & Culture:
- Busy season: 45–60 hours/week
- Non-busy season: ~40 hours/week
