Proposal Design Manager

The Position

Seeking a creative, business-minded leader to oversee incentive strategy, design, and proposal development for Brightspot’s diverse portfolio of incentive programs. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Information Technology, and Operations leads to craft customized, innovative solutions, focusing on channel and partner incentive programs, while infusing creativity and business acumen to drive results. The role will be responsible for the creation of proposals, provide pricing oversight, and ensure cohesive execution across deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as proposal lead for non-travel incentive programs, working cross-functionally with Sales, IT, and Operations leaders, ensuring accuracy, creativity, budget and consistency with brand. Role requires management of high volume of sales deliverables with short lead times
• Lead budget creation and financial modeling for incentive proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with profitability targets
• Become a Product Knowledge Champion by learning about Brightspot technology offerings including Ignite incentive software, Unite event registration, mobile event apps, and other platforms to support sales enablement and consult clients on best-fit solutions
• Conduct data analysis to measure program effectiveness, track trends, and inform strategic recommendations for year-over-year business
• Oversee change orders for client programs, working with internal teams to develop the best solution for our clients while maintaining clear communication and documentation
• Help guide Proposal Specialist in creation and completion of travel & meeting deliverables, managing details from Sales & Sourcing team members to paint the visual journey of motivating programs
• Manage Brightspot’s Continuing Education & Development initiative, our internal learning program to educate and inspire lifelong learners.
• Stay current on industry trends and competitor positioning to inform incentive design strategy
• Attend supplier education sessions in our office and light travel to industry tradeshows and events

Minimum Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and visual communications
• Experience with budget creation and data analysis
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability in managing multiple/competing priorities
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills; requires high volume of output

Technical Requirements

• Professional expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, and AI tools preferred
• SaaS or technical product knowledge a plus
