Job Posting: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatric Care – Ashley, Ohio

We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide exceptional care to a pediatric client with Cerebral Palsy who uses a BiPAP machine and has a cat at home. Job Details:
- Location: Ashley, Ohio
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Starting Pay: $31.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide client care according to the approved Plan of Care.
- Assist with G-tube feedings and medications, ensuring the proper administration as prescribed.
- Monitor and respond to seizure episodes as per the established protocols.
- Ensure the child’s overall safety and well-being in their home environment.
- Monitor vital signs and assess the child’s condition, documenting any changes or concerns.
- Assist the child with daily personal care activities, while fostering a comfortable and nurturing environment.
- Work closely with the family to ensure they are well-supported in caring for their child.
- Provide ongoing updates and documentation to ensure proper communication with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the State of Ohio.
- CPR Certification (current).
- Recent negative TB test or chest x-ray.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Ability to provide high-quality pediatric care, including G-tube management and seizure response.
- Passion for working in a family-centered environment and providing care to children with complex medical needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with pediatric care, seizures, and/or cerebral palsy is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families.
- Able to work independently while maintaining communication with the family and the care team.
