Enterprise Architect
12-Month Contract
Remote w/ quarterly travel to Hartford, CT
Brooksource is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape technology strategy and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions that improve healthcare access for Medicare populations for our Fortune 10 healthcare client. This role calls for a visionary leader to define high-level architecture, align IT efforts with business objectives, and foster clear communication with stakeholders. The Enterprise Architect will be instrumental in applying AI, Machine Learning, and predictive analytics to enhance patient outcomes and streamline provider operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive epic/feature assignments and general direction from train architect.
- Partner with Product Owner, BA and Development technical leads to refine/understand requirements.
- Partner with Solution Domain Lead architects (if necessary) to seek guidance or vet solutions impacting other domains.
- Collaborate with integration architect to deliver solution artifacts (sketch, ppt, etc.)
- Continuously attain and refine business and systems subject matter expertise.
- Leverage architecture patterns for the solution. Create them if covering new ground.
- Present solution sketches to various stakeholders (SS architect team, Infrastructure SMEs, business, etc.) for review and feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- Understanding of emerging AI agent interoperability standards (e.g., Model Context Protocol, Agent2Agent)
- Experience with GenAI architectures (e.g., RAG/chain frameworks, vector databases, agentic AI)
- Architectural expertise across cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), including cloud-native, containerized, and SaaS integration
- Experience with distributed computing architectures, including parallelism, concurrency control, and race conditions
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proven experience designing and developing complex systems with a disciplined, rigorous approach
- Experience with distributed caching strategies and Kafka-based messaging/streaming systems
- Strong knowledge of REST API design for developer usability and system integration
- Experience with modern application stacks (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Node.js), across both cloud and on-premise environments
- Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including sharding, normalization/denormalization, and trade-off evaluation
- Experience working on Agile teams using SAFe principles
- Skilled in requirements analysis, estimation, design patterns, and testing
- Familiarity with Contact Center technologies (e.g., Salesforce AgentForce, Five9)
- Strong collaboration, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Skilled at leading and facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams
