Broward Avian Exotic Animal Hospital in Deerfield Beach, FL is growing! We are looking for a veterinary customer care specialist to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 1101 S Powerline Rd#108. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, self-driven, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Our Customer Care specialists are the face of our clinic. Excellent phone and interpersonal skills are required. You must be compassionate and patient, and have the desire to work with Birds and Exotic species. Our customer care staff has a lot of interaction with our clients, taking history, handling the patients and assisting with discharges. This is NOT just a desk job. You will be engaged with the clients, doctors and handling patients throughout the day. Starting pay is based on experience and potential. We also offer a benefits package to full time employees. We do require Saturdays. And we open two days a week until 8pm.
Qualifications
- Multi line high volume phone calls
- experience with practice management software (DVMAX) a plus.
- Excellent typing skills and accurate spelling and punctuation.
- basic math skills ensuring accurate calculations
- We function as a team and this is a varied position that involves interacting with the clients, patients, Doctors and fellow employees in a high stress but fun environment. Saturdays required.
- We need someone who is available to close. We are open until 6pm on Mon, Wed, Fri and 8pm on Tues and Thurs. Sat are 8-2 .
