Summary:
Responsible for employee benefits account management responsibilities. This includes day to day client contact and assistance with daily service functions. Utilizes technical expertise to retain present clients. Administers marketing and renewal functions. Assists Team Lead in servicing the financial consulting needs of the employee benefit clients. Evaluates financial and utilization metrics for clients including but not limited to monthly financial reports, utilization metrics and benchmarks as well as assist with other adhoc reports and analysis.
Essential Duties and Functions:
All responsibilities that fall within the Sr. Benefits Analyst career track, plus:
- Proactive development and execution of client benefit program strategy
- Ability to lead client meetings, as appropriate
- Onboarding of new clients
- Strong product & industry knowledge
- Development of relationships with vendors
- Reduced guidance needed from Team Lead on day-to-day tasks & deliverables
- Ability to guide and provide insight on team tasks, training & onboarding
- Awareness of opportunities for client revenue enhancement
- Proficient in compliance, benchmarking, renewal & marketing processes and deliverables
- Prepare and audit client benefit statements
- Adherence of 2-day advanced preparation of meeting materials in order to properly accommodate peer review process

Required:
- Minimum of 4 year degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 4 years employee benefits experience with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits
- 1 years financial experience
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Microsoft Excel – Strong to expert level skills required
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License
- This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
- Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.

Salary : $63,200 - $80,000
