As our Test Technician, you are a valuable part of our success collaborating with the team to deliver "Powerful Solutions". Our Test Technicians provide electrical testing and system analysis, primarily for Commercial, Industrial and Utility markets. Their work must uphold high ethical standards, prioritizing safety, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Some of the Work You'll Do:
- Act as a safety leader by working and communicating with team members to identify and limit hazardous situations even in the presence of other job pressures such as scheduling and cost
- Provide technical assistance and mentoring to field personnel
- Provide electrical testing, and electrical system diagnostics
- Create, maintain, and distribute detailed equipment test data
- Lead field personnel in testing and commissioning activities
- Maintain and cultivate customer relationships
- Assist with other project support as needed
- Willingly undertake additional responsibilities as directed by senior management.
- Work will require travel, including overnight stays and attending job site meetings.

What You'll Need:
- 5 years related experience and/or training
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Competent in reading architectural, structural and electrical plans and specifications
- Competent in performing a variety of computer duties related to testing and documentation
- Familiar with a variety of electrical systems and terminology
- Competent in diagnosing problems and determining appropriate action plan to resolve
- Understand industry knowledge with circuit breakers LV/MV/HV, CT's, VT's, transformers, switchgear, cables, motors
- Experience with test equipment including Power Factor, Ductor, Megger, CT ratio & Saturation, Hi-Pot, and Circuit Breaker Timing
- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving history; full-size pickup navigational skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Multi-tasker with strong problem-solving skills and strong ability to perform duties to a high level of detail
- Able to deliver work on time and meet budget expectations
