A dynamic and fast-growing real estate investment and development firm is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their corporate finance team. Position Overview
As a Corporate Accountant, you’ll be responsible for reconciling intercompany transactions, preparing journal entries, managing monthly close activities, and supporting financial reporting processes across the corporate entities. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as accounts payable, property accounting, and development to ensure accurate reporting and clean books.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions across various business entities
- Prepare intercompany billings, settlements, and monthly reconciliations in accordance with policy
- Collaborate across departments to investigate and resolve variances
- Prepare journal entries with complete documentation in line with U.S. GAAP
- Support the month-end close process and assist with corporate financial statement preparation
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Review general ledger coding and descriptions for corporate expenses
- Respond to internal inquiries and support ad hoc projects with the Corporate Accounting team
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 year of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or real estate setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working collaboratively in an open, team-oriented culture

Salary : $60,000 - $77,500
