We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Records / Central Supply. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, as well as ensuring that our central supply inventory is managed efficiently.

- Maintain and update patient medical records in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Ensure all medical records are stored securely and follow HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
- Process requests for medical records from healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other authorized individuals
- Manage the central supply inventory, ordering supplies as needed and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
- Assist healthcare providers and clinical staff with locating and retrieving medical records and supplies
- Perform regular audits of medical records and central supply inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the central supply storage area
- Attends in-service training and departmental meetings
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- RHIT
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a medical records or central supply role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer software and electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
