What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Staff position at Bucks County Estate Traders Inc?
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining organization, productivity, and accountability for their assigned tasks. They are key to ensuring the cleanliness of the building and products. Cleaners must be able to balance efficiency and a high attention to detail. Some key tasks include (but not limited to):
- Cleaning products to be photographed and sold
- Cleaning the building including but not limited to vacuuming, bathrooms, windows, and dusting.
- The cleanliness of their workspace
- A high attention to detail
- Possess the ability to clean with the following material/methods:
- Glass cleaner
- Multi-purpose disinfectant for common areas
- Steel wool
- Oils/Stains
- Identify flaws or issues the Repair Team need to address in a product
- Ability to problem solve work independently on projects as well as within a team
- With some direction, have the ability to train new hires on cleaning tasks and ensure their success
- Shift and adapt to changing priorities in the workload
- Create and/or provide input on new processes for the Cleaning Team
- Complete safety trainings and abide by OSHA standards with cleaning supplies
- Work with Photographers and Warehouse team to efficiently move an item through its product life cycle
- Keep all walkways clear at all times
This is a part-time position. Up to twenty-five (25) hours a week with Saturdays from 8:30-4:30 being mandatory.
