Fire Alarm Customer Service Support - Monitoring Coordinator
Building Electronic Controls (BEC) is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Monitoring Coordinator to join our dynamic Service Department in Glendora. This position serves as a vital entry point into our organization—offering hands-on exposure to the sites we service, customer interactions, and the collaborative culture that drives BEC. What You'll Be Doing:
- Review and analyze daily system monitoring reports to determine necessary follow-up.
- Connect with customers regarding any system events or alerts that require attention.
- Assist in opening and scheduling new work orders generated from monitoring activity.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of communication and actions taken.
- Collaborate across the service team to deliver high-quality support and ensure seamless service delivery.
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, or a related customer service role.
- Comfortable navigating and learning various software platforms.
- Strong self-starter who can manage priorities and take initiative.
- Excellent communicator with a natural ability to build rapport and provide clear guidance.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail and follow-through.
