Staff Accountant - $22-$24 an our plus KPI bonus
Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for Inventory and Expense Accounts Payable, assisting with Accounts Receivable and other accounting duties as needed. The individual must be detail-oriented, thorough, and organized while focusing on accountability, integrity, and teamwork.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage all inventory/expense invoices within our automated AP System including:
Processing invoices in a timely manner - utilize all early pay discounts.
Manual deductions for lost or damaged product
Monitor aged payables.
Communicate with Supply Chain Analyst on resolving invoices that need extra attention.
Communicate with vendors regarding new vendor information and set up, status on past due invoices and/or resolving payment discrepancies.
Oversee and posting of:
all EDI invoices, VMI invoices and credits
Direct shipments billings
Cash Management
ACH’s/Wires/Checks/Credit Card payments
Multi State Sales Tax
Assist with:
Accounts Receivable
Vendor rebates, promos
Other accounting duties as needed.
Skills & Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer technology
Initiative, Character and Positive Attitude
Accounting Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Strong people skills and ability to multitask
Previous Accounting experience preferred.
