Restoration Consultant

A day in the life of our consultants includes carrying a ladder, door knocking, climbing on roofs, performing roof and attic inspections, and working with insurance claims. These are requirements so please make sure you are comfortable carrying out these duties before applying. We also have weekly trainings and meetings that you will be required to attend but they are motivational and give you a chance to collaborate with other consultants and departments. This is not your typical 9-5 during the busy season so be prepared to work evenings and some Saturdays. We will also keep you busy during the winter so you can make money year round!

Responsibilities

• Self-generate leads through door-to-door canvassing and business-to-business relationships
• Follow-up on company provided leads when provided
• Demonstrating solid business sales acumen and professionalism to make a positive impact on all prospects and customer
• Conduct business activity at all times in a manner consistent with the company's culture
• Building strong customer relationships by maintaining sales contacts as required by the position
• Meet or exceed the sales and margin expectations for the assigned territory
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Engage in all training activities
• Jump in to Built Strong culture and participate in Core Values activities

Skills

Require Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Able to climb a ladder, walk on roofs, and lift ~50 lbs
• Strong ability to develop new business while maintaining existing business
• Must have excellent customer service skills and attitude
• Displays a genuine interest, excitement, and eagerness toward job, company, and homeowners
• Self-starter who takes action to achieve quarterly goals
• Takes a sincere interest in what the customer or prospect truly needs
• Is motivated by selling (interested, enthusiastic, and committed to the sales role)
• Experience in roofing or construction sales a plus
