B&N Senior Project Architect Responsibilities
- Initiate design concepts, lead the development of construction documents, and carry a project through the construction administration process for multiple project types and sizes.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of project document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule.
- Conduct technical reviews in support of our Quality Control program.
- Interact with clients on a regular basis. Attend meetings with client/contractor related to architectural aspects. Present and sell design solutions at client meetings and public hearings.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee the work of junior-level Architects and mentor other staff members as needed.
- Assist in development of proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required from an NAAB accredited program
- Registered Architect in Ohio with a NCARB certificate or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- Ten or more years of related experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop fee proposals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, REVIT, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
- Client interfacing experience
- Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
- Self-motivated and adaptable
