What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Burrito Shak?
Burrito Shak in Cary, NC is looking for one prep cook to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 2982 Kildaire Farm Road. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, reliable, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and prepare salsas, sauces, and other items
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Open the restaurant and prepare for the beginning of the day
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- ServSafe Certificate
- Experience as a Prep Cook a plus
