Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst with technical acumen to join our team on a full-time, onsite basis. This role will support both the Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment platform and the Account Reconcilement Management (ARM) platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated experience in business and technical requirements gathering, ACH/payments, and working closely with both business and technical teams. This position offers the potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead discussions with both technical and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and map strategic business requirements to system solutions.
• Documentation & Analysis: Write precise and detailed technical specifications (functional and non-functional), executive summaries, business process flows, and architectural best practices.
• Project Delivery: Oversee successful execution of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with customer satisfaction and strategic objectives.
• Process Optimization: Work cross-functionally to identify and implement optimizations in application capabilities and business processes.
• UAT & Quality Assurance: Support user acceptance testing and provide feedback to ensure high-quality releases and strong user experience.
• Application Support: Provide ongoing support for ACH and ARM platforms, with a focus on modernization and continuous improvement.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technology field.
• Experience:
• Background in banking and/or payment processing (ACH, check fraud, Positive Pay)
• Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
• Prior mainframe experience preferred
• Experience working with both onshore and offshore development teams
• Skills:
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership and project coordination capabilities
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Understanding of data, data modeling, and data reporting
• Ability to effectively capture and translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fraud detection and payment systems
• Ability to create and manage detailed project plans
• Familiarity with architectural design best practices and executive-level reporting
• Experience facilitating requirements sign-offs and leading review sessions
