The Career Center is seeking a self-driven and passionate Career Specialist to guide students through the career development process which includes self-assessment, career exploration, classroom presentations, workshops, events, job search strategies, employment, internships, and other work-based learning opportunities. The Career Specialist also communicates directly with employers and campus departments to coordinate employment opportunities and other experiences for students such as workplace tours and job shadows. The Career Center is looking for an individual with a demonstrated commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity with a positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
This is not a hybrid or fully remote/virtual position. The entire work schedule is to be performed in-person from Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer, the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off.
