Job Description
Under some supervision, the Technical Writer provides programmatic support for the project. The responsibilities will include the following:
● Provide QA for all written products from both a technical and grammatical standpoint.
● Interface with analysts and principle authors to complete products in an efficient and timely manner.
● Coordinate with customers for the development and maintenance of template/formatting standards.
● Support the development of customer briefings.
● Support technical meetings.
● Support the maintenance of KM infrastructure.
● Support the production of monthly status reports.
● Develop documentation necessary for tracking, archiving, and capturing impacts of longterm research.
● Generate other programmatic documentation, as required.
● Other duties, as required.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's Degree ( 1 years’ experience), Associate’s Degree ( 3 years' experience), or High School Diploma ( 5 years’ experience).
● Must have experience in technical writing, with at least two (2) years include preparing technical documentation for cybersecurity or intelligence needs.
● Excellent written and oral communication skill.
● Extensive experience using MS Office Suite.
● Database use and curation a plus.
● Must be able to integrate with fast-paced, multidisciplinary, small team.
● Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and levels of an organization.
● Must be able to multi-task and support multiple complex elements of the project efficiently and effectively.
