What will your role be?
Scalian is seeking an accomplished Technical Writer to oversee the design and establish clear, accurate project development outlines. This role involves standard project management activities such as requirement gathering, planning, project monitoring, and configuration management. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and engage respectfully with all stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Activities:
- Develop and create comprehensive project plans and associated milestone deliverables, covering requirement gathering through to operational viability, including: communications plan, scope development, schedule
- Monitor and report on project status & health, encompassing scope, performance to schedule, budget, quality
- Collaborate with internal teams to gain deep insights into product requirements and documentation needs
- Partner with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, review and analyze documentation in detail, and determine optimal data compilation and centralized storage solutions. Confirm receipt of all deliverables
- Conduct thorough inspections of all work performed to ensure compliance with client expectations
- Maintain meticulous project documentation and facilitate smooth handover at project completion
What skills and qualifications are we looking for?
- 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and effectively manage own time, operating in a global multicultural environment
- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall Project Methodologies
- Strong soft skills including presentation, interpersonal skills, and customer relationship management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite
- Experience in a global office or high-tech industry
- Self-motivated with strong leadership capabilities
- Expertise in stakeholder management and ability to manage risks and issues with effective mitigation plans
