Description
The Copywriter reports directly to the Creative Director. The Copywriter assists the in-house marketing team to transform hard-to-explain ideas into easy-to-understand words. The Copywriter is a communicator with a creative writing style and technical understanding to craft content for product packaging, user manuals, quick start guides, Amazon product listings, websites and corporate collateral.
Essential Duties (but not limited to):
- Develop content, communications and product listings geared towards helping prospects and customers understand how to use products
- Research and test product to understand usage and convey instructions in user manuals and quick start guides
- Write search optimized product A product descriptions for ecommerce
- Coordinate core message and target audience with Creative Director and internal customers
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all written marketing content and incorporate revisions accordingly
- Define a consistent branded voice and tone for multiple brands across multiple channels
Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience: writing copy, editing, proofreading
- Must have extensive experience in writing clear-to-read user manuals
- Must be able to work on the following components:

- Trade show graphics
- In-store displays
- Promotional materials
- Product catalogs
- Social media assets
- Website design
- User manuals
- Newsletters
- Sell sheets
- Brochures
- General marketing collateral

Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must pass a Background Check
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs, sit for extended periods of time, stairs, reach, twist, bend, stretch, climb, walk and/or run
