Become a Roofing Inspector and Solar Site Surveyor on our team in our Tyler, Texas office. There is a demand in Tyler and the surrounding communities for new roofs and since the new bill passed in congress for great tax credits, a demand for home solar and other energy saving systems. The community just needs people like you to introduce them to our company and set appointments for our sales closers.
Prior canvassing experience is helpful but not required. We will train you for success.
Attractive compensation for each appointment set and commission participation for each sale made by the sales closer. Extra compensation if you also do the site inspection/survey.
Responsibilities:
- Canvassing–
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing with your team in highly productive neighborhoods that have had recent storm damage and/or best candidates for solar systems.
- Conduct site inspections and solar site surveys if desired (once you're trained for this).
- Set appointment for inspector or sales closer, depending on situation.
- Networking–
- Use Cable's proprietary referral app to generate leads wherever you are when not door-to-door canvassing to increase your sales revenue.
- Reporting– Maintain daily Key Performance Indictors (KPI) of activities, including leads, contacts, inspections, follow-ups, sales, lost business and any other issues. KPI's are reported to the sales manager.
Requirements:
- Skills at approaching strangers and knocking doors
- Great conversational talent and engaging with people
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Can think on your feet and respond appropriately when facing objections and difficult conversations
- Proven organizational skills
- Ability to function well in fast-paced environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation:
1099 independent contractor receiving top compensation for each appointment, inspection and sales closed.
