THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Company is looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable to join our team and become a contributor to our continued rapid growth. As an AP/AR Specialist, you are responsible for assisting with managing cash flow, ensuring proper and accurate entry and coding of accounting-related transactions, invoices, expense reports and timely submission and collection of invoices and payments.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Track and input all payables and receivables in a timely manner
- Review vendor bills and dispute as needed; process and submit payment
- Prepare and send invoices to customers; receive, record and reconcile payment in ERP system
- Manage cash accounts, general ledger, and bank statement reconciliation
- Work with customers/vendors and internal departments to resolve any invoicing and payment issues
- Analyze AR/AP aging reports; ensure timely collection of unpaid balance; process write-off following P&P; meet with Management bi-weekly about AR/AP aging status.
- Other AR/AP-related duties may be assigned.
HOW YOU CAN FIT
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related fields
- 2 years of work experience in both AP and AR
- Extremely action, organized and detail-orientated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with high-volume transactions and a strong knowledge of Excel and other data analytics and reporting tools
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Project and time management skills; ability to rearrange tasks as priorities change
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive approach
Experience with one or more of the following preferred
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet usage
- Proficiency in ERP software
- Experience working in a wholesale industry is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
