What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator position at CACI?
CACI is seeking a cleared System Administrator to be part of a team that supports operations and maintenance (O&M), research and development (R&D), and procurement of data and information processing capabilities on the F3I 2 Contract in support of the 35IS. The candidate will be based in San Antonio, TX at 35th IS, Lackland AFB, TX.
MUST have TS/SCI prior to hire and have Security Certification.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Support the cyber security mission of 35th IS information systems (IS) and networks installed on Dell EMC servers, Nutanix appliances, and other systems and tools to deliver Enterprise Services.
Maintain and operate a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) using Nutanix AHV, Prism, CALM, and Acropolis on Nutanix appliances.
Install, support and maintain servers by tuning system performance, system wide software configuration and allocation of mass storage space.
Install, support and maintain a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) by tuning system performance, system wide software configuration, and allocation of compute resources.
Responsible for the integrity, confidentiality, availability of information systems through patch management to include antivirus installation and signature file updates and data archival/restoral.
Respond and resolve service outages, technical queries and other system related issues.
Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems as current as possible with changing technology.
Utilize Agile processes to develop and sustain software deployment activities.
Remotely update and modernize a large geographically separated IT enterprise.
Perform system checks (processes, services, network, storage) to ascertain overall system health.
Update and document configuration management and troubleshoot any reported problems.
Collaborate with the security team on system upgrades and issues.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor’s in computer science or related engineering disciplines and 3 years of related experience and experience and strong understanding of software architecture.
DOD Directive 8570 IAT I or II certification (Security or equivalent).
Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
