SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor is to support the Warehouse Manager in the supervision and operation of all warehouse activities. Responsibilities include assigning, training, and monitoring shift personnel in the performance of their duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Subject to change depending on shift being supervised.)
- Proficient in management of all other warehouse systems (EasyPick, Vertique Marquee, routing specialist, etc.).
- CPB supervisor must be proficient in management and operation of Vertique system.
- Be knowledgeable of all shift processes in order to properly supervise, train and direct warehouse personnel.
- Complete certification on all warehouse equipment.
- Responsible to complete certified trainer to sign off on all equipment training for team.
- Responsible for opening or closing the warehouse.
- Responsible for ensuring proper set up, including upload/download of data, of driver handheld devices for all routes and printing invoices as needed.
- Ensure all product movement in and out of, and within, the facility is controlled and follows appropriate processes, including required documentation.
- Assist in all areas of loss prevention to minimize inventory losses and worker safety.
- Direct shift activities to ensure the highest standards are met.
- Monitor daily appointments and manage dock availability.
- Responsible for resolving handheld device, scanner, and printer issues that arise.
- Provide necessary paperwork for morning keg pull.
- Responsible for ensuring selectors are limiting breakage, pick errors, and loading errors.
- Generate invoices for hotshot, transfers, and extraordinary events.
- Enter adjustments for breakage and repack.
- Supervise returns of dunnage to breweries and accurately process paperwork.
- Supervise unloading of incoming products and their placement in warehouse using WMS system.
- Follow all product rotation guidelines and report potential problems to the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure proper handling and operation of all warehouse equipment, and necessary certification for all operators.
- Ensure any changes to outgoing delivery loads are properly recorded.
- Support Operations management in maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness standard and daily maintenance needs, including at least daily “walks” to assess adherence to standards.
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to all safety programs to meet company standards and exceed those of regulatory agencies.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent Managerial/Operations experience preferred with an understanding of sales concepts, personnel management, budgets, and people skills.
COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Repetitive, routine, or semi-routine duties involving the use of numerous general procedures involving average detail and variation where the employee is responsible for recognition of previously described sets of circumstances and correct choice of action within limits of clearly prescribed standard practices and procedures, requiring the making of contingency decision and the use of some judgement.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Under general supervision where standard practice and flow of work enables the employee to proceed alone on regular duties, referring questionable variations in work to supervisor or others.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ERRORS
Probable errors are usually detected in succeeding operations and confined to a single department or phase of company activities. Errors could cause some internal confusion or delay or cause customer or supplier complaints but could be detected and adjusted with little difficulty. Corrections would involve backchecking by others and would involve some moderate monetary losses. Most work verified or checked either by systems or procedures, or supervision.
