- Assist with receiving the public and answering questions, in person and by telephone.
- Assist with responding to inquiries from employees, students, and citizens.
- Assist with referring inquiries, when necessary, to the appropriate person, or department.
- Assist with general clerical duties, entering data into a computer, filing records, sending and receiving faxes, answering telephone calls, and relaying messages.
- Assist with picking up, sorting and distributing mail.
- Assist with the processing of parking citations.
- Assist with cashier payment transactions for UPD and Parking Management Bureau.
- Assist with performing Live Scan fingerprint services.
- Assist with receiving and transmitting shuttle requests over the radio.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.
- Should be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint).
- The successful candidate must be fingerprinted and successfully pass a background check, which may include checks of employment records, criminal records, civil records, and motor vehicle records.
- Experience in a professional office setting.
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

The ASR contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming.
