Software Engineer – Finance & HR Modernization
Location: Goodlettsville, TN (Onsite – Local Candidates Only)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support a Finance & HR Modernization initiative. This role will focus heavily on SQL database development and supporting enterprise systems that enable finance and human resources operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SQL experience, with preference for Oracle environments and TOAD tools.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong SQL Database experience (REQUIRED)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (Strongly Preferred)
- Experience using TOAD (Strongly Preferred)
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and database objects
- Support Finance & HR system modernization efforts
- Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex application and database issues
- Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code
- Support small development initiatives and enhancements
- Assist and guide junior team members as needed
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Finance and/or HR systems
- Exposure to enterprise modernization or ERP-related projects
- Familiarity with Oracle tools and enterprise data environments
