Hiring Range
The hiring range for this position is $18.00-$21.00 p/hour. This is the pay scale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate along with the requirements of the position.

What you'll be doing:
- Ensure shop and warehouse is clean, organized, and free from any safety hazards.
- Prepare documents, such as pick slips and shipping orders to route materials.
- Pack, seal, label and affix appropriate shipping labels to prepare packages for shipping.
- Examine shipping contents and compare packing slips for accuracy.
- Strip material to pallets and ensure product(s) arrive at customers’ locations safely.
- Receive and put away product in a timely manner.
- Maintain store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Daily and weekly cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Provide input on process improvements.
- Other duties as required.
What we’re looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in a warehouse or shop environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Works with a sense of urgency to meet employee and customer deadlines.
- High level of accuracy.
- Problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Previous use of a Pallet Jack and Forklift a plus, but will train!
Expected Hours:
Monday – Friday 7am – 4:30pm. Must be willing to work overtime to meet our customers’ needs.
Work Environment
Position functions in a warehouse environment. While performing duties, our employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, saws, standard warehouse equipment, heavy equipment, and varying degrees of temperatures or weather conditions.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to carry, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Position requires frequent and consistent reaching, twisting, kneeling, bending, crouching, squatting. Utilize PPE when required and as necessary. Ability to use hand tools safely.
