As a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical Department, you will utilize your expertise in plan-of-care interventions, patient advocacy, assessment skills, critical thinking, and life-saving interventions to impact not only the lives of the patients you care for but their loved ones as well.
Position Summary
The Medical-Surgical Department is a 34 bed unit. The RN assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients. You will develop individual nursing care plans, implement care plans, make revisions as needed, evaluate patient care outcomes, and collaborate with physicians and other hospital employees.
You will administer medications, treatments, and therapies, communicate with patients, and oversee the provision of care. Accurate documentation of nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given is essential.
Salary : $72,000 - $98,000
