Title: Data Modeler

Job Summary
As a data modeler this individual will be working closely with data architects’ data analyst’s app dev teams to implement data modelling solutions, build models for Data Lake Lakehouse. This individual will ensure success as a data modeler. Successful candidates will have in-depth knowledge of data warehousing, be able to communicate effectively, and should be able to design models that reduce data redundancy streamline data movements.
Responsibilities

Analyzing and translating business needs into long term solution data models

Evaluating existing data systems design models that reduce data redundancy

streamline data movements

Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows

Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system

Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross compatibility

Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models

Updating and optimizing local and metadata models

Evaluating implemented data systems for variances discrepancies and efficiency

Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems
Required Skills

Overall Experience 7 yrs.

3-5 years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling

Should have in depth knowledge of data warehousing

Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools

Cloud data modeling experience

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Salary Transparency
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $103,330 - $128,656.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
