Job summary
Scale House Operators are responsible for communicating with the truck drivers to assist them in lining up their trucks, so it properly loaded. The Scale House Operator is responsible for receiving the correct PO in order to load the right product. As well as, making sure they are loaded to the correct weight to meet state and company policy. Scale Operators will keep a clean and safe working area.
Detailed job duties include:
- Communicating with Drivers
- Printing purchase orders
- Making sure Truck Drivers check in
- Complete daily checklist
Qualifications:
- Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated
- Demonstrate excellent time management abilities
- Be able to perform basic math
- Basic computer knowledge
