We are representing a FORTUNE 500 automotive manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Paint Technical Manager at their state-of-the-art production facility due to their continued growth. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will be responsible for leading all paint department operations with full budgetary ownership. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Directly manage all personnel and objectives for department.
- Develop and implement systems and processes for Paint Department ensuring high quality, cost effective, and on-time products.
- Direct and support Paint Department personnel (engineers, supervisors, skilled-trades, automation engineers, production associates, etc.)
- Ensure all organizational and state/federal safety procedures and standards are adhered to through consistent monitoring/communication and training and development.
- Identify Continuous Improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
- Interview, hire, develop, and evaluate departmental personnel.
POSITION REQUIRMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree Required (Engineering/Technical, Business, etc.)
- 5 years of progressive technical experience within automotive paint/coatings.
- 2 years of management/supervision experience within manufacturing environment(s).
- Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement skills.

Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
