Material Handler

Carbon is looking for a a Material Handler to join our team in our Redwood City, CA office. The ideal candidate shall receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers and others accurately and promptly. He/she shall verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking material against the packing list on incoming deliveries. Additional Responsibilities: •Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies •Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory areas in an orderly manner. •Enter quantity received against the purchase order in the computer system (Oracle) •Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, and correct incorrect receipts  •Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area •Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas to ensure the warehouse is maintained, clean, accessible and safe.  •Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list Requirements: •1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment  •Basic data entry, math skills and reasoning skills. •Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office platform •Experience with ERP System – Oracle preferred •Attention to detail and problem-solving skills •Excellent time management and organizational skills •Written and verbal communication skills •Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials By clicking the “APPLY FOR THIS JOB” button and submitting your job application, you agree you have reviewed the complete Privacy Notice for Employees, Independent Contractors and Job Applicants, which explains the categories of personal information we collect about you, the purposes for which the categories of personal information shall be used and your rights with respect to our use of such personal Information.
